Helloooo! It’s me, Girija!

I officially started my illustration journey in the mid of 2018, after I quit my corporate job. However, I have been scribbling for as long as I remember! Be it sketching on the last page of the notebook during lectures or trying to draw the Powerpuff Girls while watching it on TV or the random doodling while on a long call, the scribbling never stopped!

Scribblegiri, as I call it now, started with tiny drawings, birthday doodles and greeting cards for friends and family. People around started to love what I do and eventually I started getting paid for it. Then began the Instagram journey, commissions started to pour in and everything else took a back seat!

And now, here I am, following my dream and drawing for a living!

I currently work as a freelance illustrator with a number of clients. I also loveeee working on Commissions, Wedding Invites and Personalized Gifts that tell stories close to people’s hearts and it feels amazing to be a tiny part of it!
